Operation Cockroach

Today we had an official two hours lecture about how to behave in the student dormitory. Rules, rules, rules. At the end the maintenance staff handed out cans of cockroach poison to every student.



When it is used in one room, the problem is that the cockroaches might just flee into the next room. What to do? When some of us discussed in the hallway, we had the idea to do it all at the same time, so that there is better chance of getting the cockroaches out of all the dorm rooms. As we were standing there discussing the best strategy to fight the cockroaches it sounded as if we were going to war. As there is a party on Friday, we decided to do it at 12.00 on Saturday. Then we meet in the lobby and go downtown to grab some lunch. In the meantime hopefully the cockroaches have died or left. Now we need to tell as many as we can about our plans!



Will this be the beginning of an overall bond of solidarity between the inhabitants of the international house? Will this joining of forces be the beginning of a lifelong lasting camaraderie? Let's hope so! Then these damn cockroaches would have at least one positive effect.
